FOMO Berlin: May 22 - May 28

Weekly newsletter keeping you up to date on the coolest events for tech & culture in Berlin

Hi, Berliners 👋

This weekend we finally got the summer back to Berlin! I hope you’re still with me and not already at the beach 😎 because this week we’re really piling up the events! WOW, what a list, just go see for yourself 🤯

‼️You also have the opportunity to win a ticket for TOA Berlin at the bottom of this newsletter, the program is amazing, so you don’t want to miss this 🎁

Why FOMO Berlin?

For my weekend activities, I enjoy visiting the site Mit Vergnügen to discover cultural events, happening on the weekend. I always felt a bit frustrated 😤 that there was nothing similar to this for tech events and builders like us 🧑‍💻

Every time I discovered a cool event, I’d share it with my friends to give us an opportunity to meet in person.

With FOMO Berlin, I simply aim to solve my own problem 😎 and make it just a bit easier to share all cool events with my friends 🤓

Shout-out time - TOA Berlin

Ale, Ale’s roommate, and me at her last b-day dinner in March 🎉

After a 3-year pandemic break, our friends @TechOpenAir are back in Berlin this summer with their beloved Technology Festival – taking place from 5-7th July 2023

This unique tech festival will bring together 10,000 attendees and over 100 international speakers, providing access to the world's leading founders, investors, operators, scientists, and creatives

TOA Berlin is very special to me as it’s one of the first tech events that I attend. it was absolutely amazing and such a great place to meet new people. As a young bachelor's student doing an internship in Berlin, I could not afford to buy a ticket. So I attended the conference as a volunteer, managing the guest list for a satellite event at Ipse. While volunteering, I met one of my best friends Ale, an Interior designer who moved from Vancouver to Berlin.

I can definitely recommend volunteering for TOA Berlin, but let’s assume this is not really for you or maybe you’re too busy.

We’re giving 2 TOA Berlin tickets away! All you have to do is subscribe and only share the newsletter with 2 more people* to be part of the raffle. Refer people underneath and we will announce the winner 31st of May!
