Hey Berliners,

While the world argued about who runs AI, Berlin kept building. Google folded its two continents back into one, Hassabis stepping up to Chairman.

Closer to home, Moss closed a €30 million Series C, crossed the billion euro mark, and became Berlin's newest unicorn, Cherry Ventures and Portage backing another win for the city's fintech bench. Germany just overtook the rest of Europe too, top fundraising market in July with €3.5 billion across 48 deals, and Berlin alone now claims 26 of Germany's 49 unicorns. Our own AI founders are packing bags for SF Tech Week, proving Berlin builds more than beer gardens and bureaucracy.

So while the industry recalibrates, we're doing what Berlin does best in August. Taking it to the roof.

This Thursday, we, FOMO in partnership with Kleiner Freitag, are taking over Delta Campus's brand new rooftop in Neukölln. Pool included. Skyline included. The people who make weeks like this one interesting, also included. Are you in?
