🌍☀️ Padel in the sun, drinks at night, startup talk in between, Cape Town is having one of those very tellable, very shiny moments of founder and investor life.

That’s exactly why we teamed up with Gründerszene to turn this into a weekly column: snapshots from the Entrepreneurship & Investor life in Cape Town, close to the scene, unpolished, no PR filter. Here is the link to our first FOMO x Gründerszene column.

That said (and this matters): this only captures a tiny facet of reality.
As beautiful as these stories sound and as easily as they’re told, Cape Town also carries a very real, very heavy shadow side: inequality, access, privilege, contradictions. We should stay aware of that.

My hope is that, step by step, this column won’t just show the sunsets and social moments but will also begin to touch on the uncomfortable questions and create space for more honest, responsible perspectives over time.
